New precision instrument:
Piezosurgery Flex
My practice now works with the newest, most advanced piezoelectric ultrasonic bone surgery device — already proven in surgery.
I am delighted to announce that my practice has a new instrument: the Mectron Piezosurgery Flex, the newest, most advanced piezoelectric ultrasonic bone surgery device. Ultrasonic technology shapes bone with micrometre precision and exceptional gentleness, while leaving the soft tissues — skin, cartilage and mucosa — untouched.
In rhinoplasty this brings tangible benefits to my patients: ultrasonic bone shaping causes less tissue trauma, which means less swelling and bruising and, in many cases, a faster, more comfortable recovery compared with traditional instruments.
I have already performed the first rhinoplasty with the device — the images below were taken during that procedure and show the fine, millimetre-precise work that ultrasonic technology makes possible.
